Car Updates
10-24-01
I did the new camshaft a few weeks ago and it's idle has become lumpy as hell.  The power has definitely moved to some higher ground on the RPM range.  I was expecting the SES light to come on, and it did.  I had a friend scan the codes for me and it came up with two: Multiple misfires and a malfunctioning Knock retard sensor.  We reset them and the car runs even stronger now, the light came back but I think it's just the multiple misfire code.  I regret not doing a Dyno run before and after the installationI'd like to have seen exactly how much Hp I picked up.  I got the car detailed last weekend and am going to put it up for the winter (it's gonna be a long one without it).  Maybe in the spring when I pull it out again I'll gut the cats.  I'm also looking forward for LS1 edit to come out so I can change some stuff within the programming.
