This is a page
dedicated to my 99' Chevy Z-28 Camaro
I bought this car in
the middle of 2001, and I've been enjoying it ever since. It
appeared in Supper Chevy magazine, with it's previous owner, in an
article about the Super Chevy Show in Dallas in 2000. I've done
some modifications to the car which include:
- Appearance:
- SLP Bowtie Grill
- Brake Calipers Painted Orange*
- Hyper White Hi/Lo beam headlight blulbs
- Handling:
- Powerslot front Rotors*
- Durastop Pads*
- Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs*
- Kenny Brown Double Diamond Sub Frames*
- BMR strut tower brace
- Interior / Electronics:
- Autometer Tach
- Autometer A-pillar Dual Guage pod
- Harlan shift light *w/orange leds*
- B&M Ripper Shifter & Handle
- Sheep skin seat covers
- Kenwood TM-V7A Ham Radio
- 15" Orion Sub-woofer
- Infinity 202a amplifier
- Pioneer Head Unit
Yeah Baby, those sure are slotted rotors and painted brake calipers.

Updates
10-24-01
I did the new camshaft a
few weeks ago and it's idle has become lumpy as hell. The power has definitely
moved to some higher ground on the RPM range. I was expecting the
SES light to come on, and it did. I had a friend scan the codes for me and
it came up with two: Multiple misfires and a malfunctioning Knock retard
sensor. We reset them and the car runs even stronger now, the light
came back but I think it's just the multiple misfire code. I regret not doing a
Dyno run before and after the installationI'd like to have seen
exactly how much Hp I picked up. I got the car detailed last
weekend and am going to put it up for the winter (it's gonna be a long one
without it). Maybe in the spring when I pull it out again I'll gut
the cats. I'm also looking forward for LS1 edit to come out so I can
change some stuff within the programming.
